Abhishek Kushwaha
Abhishek is an AI and machine learning leader with over a decade of experience building intelligent products at startups and large enterprises. An alumnus of IIT Bombay, he worked at Walmart Global Tech on warehouse automation and GenAI adoption for enterprise problems. He also spent time at Razorpay. Earlier, he helped startups including SigTuple, Taskbob and Transporter build AI-led products from the ground up. His research includes a CVPR 2020 workshop paper on synthesizing medical images for training data, and he has written on speeding up deep learning inference.
Abhishek is the Co-Founder of Karta AI, where he leads the build of voice AI agents for complex, regulated environments such as FinTech. He has helped develop Karta’s AI Context Engine and Instruction Adherence Engine, which keep agents grounded in a company’s business rules and processes. He has also helped build Supervisor, a “Digital FDE” that evaluates, tests, audits and improves Voice AI agents at scale. Karta’s recent milestones include new clients onboarded through partners and a 35% improvement in resolution rate from its new harness.
Abhishek is a recognised voice in the space, having spoken on Voice AI panels, and was featured in Outlook India’s 40 Under 40 Asia 2025 list of young Indian leaders. He believes AI should take over repetitive work and support better decisions rather than just answer FAQs.
