Vijaypal Singh
Vijaypal is a product leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling technology products across FinTech, healthtech and enterprise platforms. An alumnus of IIT Bombay, he spent more than two years as Director of Product Management at Razorpay. Before that, he served as VP of Products at Zeno Health and CuspEra, where he led product strategy and execution.
In 2025, Vijaypal co-founded Karta AI, an AI-native customer operations platform, and serves as its Co-Founder and CEO. Karta builds AI agents that run inbound and outbound customer conversations and complete entire workflows end to end for FinTechs, wealthtech platforms and lenders. Its agents resolve L1, L2 and L3 queries across support, onboarding, KYC, collections and sales, with RBI-compliant, multilingual conversations grounded in a company’s own policies and knowledge. Under his leadership, Karta has crossed 10 million minutes of AI-handled customer conversations, supported by a lean team.
Vijaypal believes the next phase of Voice AI will be won on context and genuine conversation, not on how human the voice sounds. He advocates designing AI agents that reason through a conversation and adapt to the customer rather than follow rigid scripts. His vision is to build AI employees that understand context, make decisions and execute entire workflows, moving beyond replacing call centres with bots.
