Amit Chahal
Amit is a data science leader with over nine years of experience in financial fraud analytics, machine learning, and large-scale data systems. His career spans high-impact roles at Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, and Zupee, where he built and deployed ML models across risk, personalisation, and fraud use cases in high-volume digital environments.
At Goldman Sachs, he worked on data-driven risk and financial models within structured enterprise systems. At Flipkart and Zupee, he focused on applied machine learning—designing production-grade models that operated at scale, balancing accuracy, latency, and business impact.
In 2021, Amit co-founded Sign3, where he serves as Chief Data Scientist. He leads the company’s AI and ML strategy, architecting fraud detection systems powered by device intelligence and open-source intelligence. His work centers on building adaptive, real-time fraud models that help high-growth companies mitigate customer risk without disrupting user journeys.
Amit believes fraud prevention must be intelligence-led, continuously learning, and deeply integrated into product architecture rather than operating as a rule-based afterthought. He holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.
